Queensland COI Requirements
In Queensland, a COI is necessary for rideshare vehicles to comply with safety standards set by Queensland Transport. It must be obtained annually to ensure it meets the required safety standards.
Additionally, certain vehicles, including taxis, limousines and rideshare vehicles may need periodic inspections to ensure they meet minimum safety requirements. This enhances safety for drivers, passengers and other motorists.

Heavy Vehicle & Trailer Pre-Registration Measurement Assistance
From 1 July 2026, HVRAS accreditation no longer applies in Queensland. Our team can still assist with pre-registration measurements and TMR inspection sheet completion for:
- Heavy vehicles
- Trailers
- Caravans
- Motorhomes
HVRAS accreditation ends 30 June 2026. While we will no longer operate as an accredited HVRAS provider, we continue to offer pre-registration measurement and TMR inspection sheet completion assistance.
Registered operators are responsible for lodging the required documentation with TMR and ensuring all information provided is correct.
